I recently stayed at Wittelsbacher Hof for a few days during my winter vacation. The breakfast room had incredible views and the tables were nicely spaced. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my gluten-free needs and there was a great selection of food available. My room had a stunning view and was impeccably clean and well-designed. I also loved the little sitting area and balcony, perfect for enjoying the surroundings. The spa, although small, had a fantastic Finnish sauna with a view and a relaxing pool. The bar area was delightful and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Plus, getting a guest card from the lobby allowed me to use the ski lifts in the area for free, which saved me a lot of money. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and have already recommended it to my friends.
Would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was superb. Walking to downtown took all of seven minutes with several local and international offerings. Hiking trails were close and even accessible by walking or bike, or driving to a central point to hike.

I unexpectedly arrived at around 0200hrs and expected gruff treatment. Instead, I was met by a very kind and welcoming night porter who was even sympathetic towards me for my travel troubles! A very nice start to my stay.
This is a 4-star hotel and, as such, I expected the furnishings and decor to reflect this. Perhaps it is the difference between a city hotel and a mountain hotel, but the furnishings and decor reminded me of nights spent at my old folks' country cottage (minus the cobwebs!). Even my room had the feeling of being a young boy's room-for-the-summer-with-the-grandparents! As such, it was very homely, but not what I expected. Having said that, I would stay there again, just with different expectations.

Spent New Year at this hotel and it was amazing! The rooms were spacious and had a great view of the mountains. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of variety. The location was perfect, with only a short walk to the town center and ski lifts.
The decor in the rooms needs updating and the carpets were stained. The indoor pool area was a bit dark and could have used better lighting.

The room was spacious for a single room, traditional with a brand new bathroom. The swimming pool is impressive (17m). Breakfast fantastic. Lovely views.
Only one English tv channel (cnn for a few hours per day) which was good since I could test my German! Not in the centre of town (10 minute walk).

I like a number of things at this hotel, first: Swimming pool is excellent. It has a good view of the mountain, and it is great. Restaurant area is big with good view, and breakfast is good. There is big dinning hall, where we can enjoy, e.g. the warm tea in the afternoon or nice cocktail in the evening. I enjoyed staying here very much.
I think this is typical for most of the hotels here, where single bed is considerably small. For a short stay it is fine.

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel, nestled amongst the mountains and adjacent to vast meadows. The facilities are top-notch, including a warm and inviting indoor swimming pool, complete with stunning mountain views. Additionally, the breakfast buffet offered substantial and delicious options that fueled me for the day's activities. Finally, the staff couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating in ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

the hotel's location was ideal for us as it was just a few minutes away from the city center, and it was located next to beautiful meadows. the room and bathroom were spacious and well-maintained. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and their breakfast offerings were delicious. We also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and appreciated the free holiday cards that provided us with free rides on all cable cars for the day.
The hotel's WiFi signal was weak in our room, which made it difficult to stay connected.

Great location with amazing views and close to the center. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony to enjoy the scenery. the breakfast had a lot of options and the food quality was good.
The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, making us feel unwelcome. the wifi only worked in the lobby and restaurant, not in our room, which was inconvenient.
